2014 and it’s the start of something new! At least we have the chance to feel like it is. I don’t know about you, I don’t make a bunch of New Year’s resolutions, but I do take some time to reflect and also project into the future. I have a few ideas that I will try to implement going forward. Always good to have a few ideas.
How about this, I would like this year to be a year less people got killed or arrested. I would like more peace on earth. They say that stuff has to start with yourself, so maybe I could at least try to complain less and be thankful more. I could do that.
I do want to say thank you to all my clients who I have worked with this past year. Not only have you employed me and helped my family eat, but you have given me wonderful times and experiences and I am so grateful. Thank you.
I hope you all have a great year, and I hope that I do too. Now get out there and show them what you’ve got!
Thanks to the staff at AAPC for having me entertain at their event celebrating their 125,000 member! Good to see my friends and share a few laughs. I agree, work is better with fun. So is life. So is anything. That was fun!
Just wanted to give a quick thank you to First Colony Mortgage and the Utah State Orthopedic Society for having me perform at there recent events. Every time I get in front of an audience I can feel the connection and it’s what makes live performance so special. We had a few laughs and lots of smiles. Thanks!
Happy Friday! Something about spring weekends that I love. I haven’t posted here in a while, amazing how time slips through my hands.
So much in communications is changing, but the core remains making a connection. What creates a connection? For one thing, being able to see ourselves in the other. Shared values. Respect. Simple things. It can be so hard to stay focused as opposed to getting mired down in the small transactions of life and distracted by things that don’t get me closer to my big goals.
So here’s to doing better at remembering what matters and keeping it foremost in my thoughts.
Thanks to everybody at AAPC for a great conference in Orlando! Great to see everyone again.
It’s one of my favorite things about this time of year, DEMOLITION DERBY! We joined some friends at a small-town derby the other weekend and saw something amazing. Happened to have a pocket video camera with us so we shot some quick film and cut together a fun social media piece. You can see it here.
A quick thank you to Symantec and Ashley their event team for an amazing experience in Dallas, Texas. Wow. It was an explosive, interactive event the like of which I haven’t seen in a long time. After the show, it took me a while to pull my head back together! And a big thanks to Clint and the crew at Cornerstone Audio Visual. Always personable excellence and professionalism at every level.
Behind the scenes Brooks Ayola Nevada Ballet shoot
One of Wolf189’s (@wolfphoto) photos chosen by @francasozzani the Editor-In-Chief of @vogue_italia for their online exhibition.
Got a surprise the other day when I checked out a photo posted on Facebook by our friend and talented photographer Brooks Ayola. When I followed the links, I found a photo taken by another talented photographer Wolf189. It was taken behind the scenes at a shoot where we shot video of Brooks shoot of the Nevada Ballet Theatre. There is a wide shot and if you look real close you can see us.
Here’s the link the the Italian Vogue posting, check it out.
Check out all the talented artists who we worked with on this shoot. It was a great experience.
